Who am I?

I’m a British gamer from the south of England with a passion for writing about games and gaming in general. I’m in my mid 20s, and I’ve been gaming since the age of 5. I grew up with the Master System and Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in the States), so you could say I was a Sega kid. I of course ended up getting a Playstation, and then continued on through the Nintendo 64, the Dreamcast (oops, but still an amazing console), and the PS2. My main love was JRPGs, until they started to die off recently. I got my Xbox 360 a few years ago… and it died a couple years later. I didn’t buy another one. Final Fantasy 13 was awful anyway.

I started gaming on the PC in 2001 when I got seriously hooked to Diablo 2. It was such fun playing it on a 33.6kbps connection! I’ve played various MMORPGs and single player games since then, most notably World of Warcraft (of course), Final Fantasy XI, Morrowind, Fallout, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Gothic, Vampire: The Masquerade, Hellgate: London (why did it have to die!), Assassin’s Creeds (there are so many), Spore (ugh), Skyrim, Guild Wars 2 and many more mostly-not-obscure titles!

I’d describe myself as a “casual hardcore” PC gamer if that makes any sense! In recent years I’ve become an avid user of Steam, and have started to play more games that I wouldn’t have before as a result, including some console titles, so you won’t necessarily see only PC stuff from me.

Enough about me – I’m sure after reading this you’ll want to read loads of my mind-blowingly amazing posts. And look, I even included a link for your convenience, isn’t that swell and not at all contrived? Click it, go on…
